Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is an excellent way to recover from strenuous workouts or an injury. It is frequently used on patients with head trauma, chronic headache, anxiety, and other cognitive applications.

Dr. Carlton attended UNLV for her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training. She moved to Huntington Beach, CA while she attended Southern California University of Health Science- LACC. During her second year of Chiropractic school Dr. Carlton was president of the Student American Chiropractic Association. She traveled to Washington DC to lobby for Chiropractic rights, a great experience she is thankful to have had.

Dr. Carlton had the pleasure of interning, then practicing at Bloch Wellness and Sports Medicine in Long Beach. There she learned from, then became part of a collaborative team of amazing forward-thinking doctors. The experience of having six doctors and many interns to share ideas amongst helped her expand her knowledge and accumulate a multitude of ways to work with her patients.

While working at the multi-disciplinary natural health center in Medical Lake, Washington, Dr. Carlton gained valuable exposure to regenerative medicine practices. She is deeply appreciative for her comprehensive understanding of how chiropractic, physical therapy and medical interventions complement each other when addressing the complete needs of patients.

Her experience is with a wide variety of demographics. Being an Athlete Trainer, she is very passionate about sports and athletes, but she also is extremely interested in Hyperbarics and all of the benefits that it can have on the body and brain.

Having the ability to adapt to her patients’ needs and wants is one of Dr. Carlton’s greatest skills. She frequently uses a variety of modalities to aid and increase the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Nutritional information and corrective exercise, especially postural correction, are important elements of the care she provides. She is always seeking new and improved methods to ensure her patients are receiving the best care.
